Mr. Mcs 2B Top Dog Pound

This afternoon we had a very special guest come to our classroom. Mrs. Cathy Haggerty spoke to us about teasing, bullying, and what we can do about it. We also watched a very informative and entertaining video that showed kids strategies to use if someone is teasing or bullying them. We finished the session with a paper and pencil activity followed by a very good classroom discussion. Thank you very much Mrs. Haggerty and we will remember “If you are sorry for Teasing, then try Pleasing ! ”

On October 31 , both grade two classes joined in for our annual “Poems and Pies ” celebration. After entertaining our honoured guests with some wonderful seasonal poems and chants, we ventured back to our class rooms to share a bag lunch . The very best part of Poems and Pies is of course all the yummy pie that we had for dessert ! We thank all parents who joined us , and of course we love the pie makers.

On Friday October 5, students at Taylor School enjoyed a delicious turkey luncheon with all the fixings. Thank you to Vernice Eggie for catering our luncheon, and to our wonderful P.A.C. for once again volunteering and making sure the event was a huge success…..
